Media Literacy

Media Literacy teaches the skill of critically analyzing and evaluating media messages.

Media Literacy trainings give participants the tools for questioning media messages

When taught to youth, Media Literacy gives them tools to question what they see
and hear, so that they may be less likely to adopt destructive attitudes.

The staff at the Adolescent Resource Center have received Media Literacy training and would be happy to present for your group or organization.

Presentations we give can focus on

  • alcohol
  • tobacco
  • nutrition
  • body image
  • parenting
  • violence
To learn more about Media Literacy, read our articles. They're older yet still relevant.
